Two established members of South Carolina’s marketing and advertising community bring their experience and energy together to form Blue Avenue, an upscale marketing boutique.

Blue Avenue is Rhonda Rawl of Lexington and Colleen Coletta of Columbia. Rawl is a strategic planning and marketing research specialist and Coletta is a seasoned creative and brand strategist.

Blue Avenue will specialize in economic development, an area in which Coletta and Rawl have worked extensively. Under this niche of economic development, they have served financial institutions, healthcare organizations, law and accounting firms, manufacturers, faith-based organizations and non-profit associations.

Their work encompasses initial concept meetings through final design and production. Rawl and Coletta have worked together and on their own for more than 10 years, Rawl as Stratagem Marketing LLC and Coletta as Design Studio C.

They’ve compiled a client list of more than 50 organizations, including the University of South Carolina, Columbia International University, Lexington County Economic Development, Lexington Medical Center, S.C. Jobs-‐Economic Development Authority (JEDA), Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Business Development Corporation (BDC), Hampton Lake in Bluffton, EC&M in St. Matthews, Hammond School, Eat Smart Move More SC, South Carolina Bank and Trust (SCBT), Woodcreek Farms and Trump Charlotte.

“Our focus has and will continue to be on economic development, as many of our clients directly and indirectly impact the local and statewide economy in which they market,” Rawl said.

“Rhonda and I have worked together for more than a decade and it’s exciting to make our business partnership official,” Coletta said. “In today’s multi-channel, multi-media marketplace, creative ideas are more important than ever to every organization’s success. We can help.”
